Description
Bold ideas need dependable infrastructure and people who can build and maintain it.
At Qu, we run sovereign, in-country infrastructure, data centres, cloud, and managed services, so Canada’s builders and innovators can move fast without trading away control. Your work will help keep data close to home, accelerate teams, and scale growth for the builders and dreamers who rely on us.
We’re building for decades, backed by InfraRed Capital Partners and Sun Life. We’re small by design, 120 people, so your voice carries and your impact shows. You’ll work on real problems that matter: to take the routine and the complex off our customers’ plates so they can focus on what they need to grow.
If you want your best work to power someone else’s moonshot, this is your place. Quiet power, built for the builders and the dreamers. We’re Qu.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support both our Deal Desk and FP&A functions as we establish and scale the finance capabilities of Qu Data Centres. This role is ideal for an early-career finance professional who is eager to learn, comfortable working in a fast-paced carve-out environment, and interested in supporting pricing, forecasting, and business decision-making.
The Analyst will work closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and the broader business to ensure customer proposals are financially sound, pricing aligns with internal policies, and forecasts reflect up-to-date business assumptions. This is a growth role with significant exposure to senior leaders and the opportunity to develop deep experience in data-centre economics, pricing analysis, and FP&A processes.

- Partner with Sales to prepare pricing models for complex or non-standard deals.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly reporting cycles.
- Prepare variance analyses against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Assist with building and maintaining financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
- Compile monthly KPI dashboards (capacity utilisation, revenue per MW, pipeline metrics, etc.).
- Work with Accounting to ensure accurate financial data and support month-end processes.
- Assist with board and investor reporting packages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Enrollment in the CPA or CFA program.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, deal desk, pricing, financial analysis, or a similar area.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to work comfortably with large datasets.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience in the data-centre industry is an asset but not required.
Why Join Qu
- Be part of a once-in-a-career opportunity to shape Canada’s newest independent and data sovereign data centre and cloud services platform.
- Work with a passionate leadership team committed to building a high-performing, customer-centric culture.
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and significant opportunity for career growth as the company expands its product suite.
