Description

Bold ideas need dependable infrastructure and people who can build and maintain it.

At Qu, we run sovereign, in-country infrastructure, data centres, cloud, and managed services, so Canada’s builders and innovators can move fast without trading away control. Your work will help keep data close to home, accelerate teams, and scale growth for the builders and dreamers who rely on us.

We’re building for decades, backed by InfraRed Capital Partners and Sun Life. We’re small by design, 120 people, so your voice carries and your impact shows. You’ll work on real problems that matter: to take the routine and the complex off our customers’ plates so they can focus on what they need to grow.

If you want your best work to power someone else’s moonshot, this is your place. Quiet power, built for the builders and the dreamers. We’re Qu.

About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Program Manager to oversee the transition and establishment of core corporate services for our newly acquired data centre business. This individual will ensure continuity of services under a Transition Services Agreement (TSA), while coordinating and monitoring the teams and vendors responsible for building in-house capabilities across HR, Corporate IT, and Finance. The Program Manager will also play a key role in monitoring transition and set-up costs, working closely with Finance to ensure spend is managed effectively.

What you'll do

Transition Oversight
  • Act as the central coordinator for all activities under the TSA, ensuring service continuity and compliance with agreed timelines.
  • Track deliverables, milestones, and dependencies to ensure the organization remains operational throughout the transition period.
  • Monitor vendor and provider performance under the TSA, escalating issues and facilitating resolution.
Corporate Services Stand-Up Support
  • Oversee progress of internal teams and external partners responsible for standing up HR, IT, and Finance functions.
  • Track project plans, ensure milestones are being met, and raise risks or delays to leadership.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure dependencies are managed and handoffs between teams are seamless.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer tracking to ensure nothing is missed from the telecom provider.
Spend Management & Budget Tracking
  • Partner with the FP&A team to track TSA costs, transition expenses, and internal project budgets.
  • Monitor actuals vs. budget, highlight variances, and flag potential overspend risks early.
  • Ensure financial accountability and cost discipline across transition and stand-up activities.
Governance & Reporting
  • Establish and maintain project dashboards, reports, and communication cadences with leadership.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies; ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Provide executives with clear, concise updates on TSA reliance, progress toward independence, costs, and key risks.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing transition, carve-out, or integration projects, ideally in telecom, technology, or data centre environments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to track multiple workstreams and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
  • Experience in budget tracking or spend management, with ability to partner effectively with Finance/FP&A.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and facilitation skills; ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience with transition service agreements (TSAs) or corporate carve-outs is highly desirable.
  • PMP or other project management certification is an asset.
